This demonstration website is deliberately minimal:

• Strictly necessary storage: a single localStorage entry (abcd_cookie_consent_v1) that records your cookie choice (accept or reject optional cookies) so the banner does not keep reappearing. This is essential to the site’s operation and does not track you.
• Optional analytics: none are loaded by default. No analytics, advertising or tracking scripts run before you press “Accept optional cookies” — and in this demo, none are loaded at all.

2. Your choices

When the cookie banner appears you can:

• Accept optional cookies — permits optional analytics/marketing cookies to load (none are active in this demo build).
• Reject optional cookies — only the strictly necessary consent record is kept.

Change your mind

3. Browser controls

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the consent record will simply cause the banner to reappear on your next visit.

4. When this site goes live

If analytics or marketing tools (for example Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) are added before commercial launch, they must be wired into the consent gate in assets/js/main.js so they load only after acceptance, and this policy must be updated to list them individually.
